Money never stopped me

For me, it is pure freedom. Freedom from being tied down to a location. Freedom from having to work certain hours and in a certain place. I recently worked part-time for a company on contract where another guy who was a full-time employee was the foundation for the new division we were working in. He (we'll call him Bob) was one of the smartest people I've ever worked with but he was limited in that he wouldn't take any chances working for himself and put up with the crap job he had because of that. 50-60 hours a week of his were dedicated to this company making someone else rich when he was 10 times smarter than the owner and could've made the big money for himself if he was willing to gamble on himself and fate. He wasn't. So he spent every day being frustrated... but he got a "paychedk" because he valued the "security". I believe it was General Patton that once said "There is no security on this earth, only opportunity". How true that is.
